JOHN DUNNING

JGD Enterprises was founded in 2011 by John Dunning specifically to provide tailored iOS apps, services and solutions.

John has an extensive background in IT and Management Consultancy and has provided IT Consultancy and Development services for a range of customers including IBM, ICL, BancTec, the Inland Revenue, the Ministry of Defence, The Association of District Councils, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Visa International, Bank of America, various Venture Capital and Private Venture Organisations and a number of SMEs.

John’s IT skills include Analysis, Design and Development and he has extensive knowledge of Unix, C, C++, Objective-C, Informix, Java, JavaFX, Web Technologies, and Rule Engines including JRules and DROOLS. 

John has worked on Secure Unix Kernel Extensions, Fuel Injection simulators, various Database Management Systems, both front end and back-end Systems, Measurement Accounting, Airline, Contract Tracking, Banking, Mortgage and Insurance, Telecommunications, Visa Transactions, Security and a comprehensive portfolio of E-commerce Solutions.

In 1998 John founded, contributed course materials to and also provided instruction for a Specialist IT Training Company that provided Comprehensive and Intense Training Courses for the UK’s leading edge IT Consultants.  This quickly extended to a number of corporate clients including Hewlett Packard and a number of Banks.

In 2000, John was selected by KPMG to present at the Startup-$1bn Conference in London.

For the last 5 years, John has worked on various projects for the iPhone and iPad including apps for tracking the Stock Market and Aggregating Company Research.  John has particular knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
